Technique- Pultrusion
Pultrusion is a continuous process using fibre reinforcements with thermosetting resin matrices. Pre-selected reinforcement materials, such as fibreglass roving, mat, woven fabrics or stitched fabric, are drawn through a resin bath in which all material is thorougly impregnated with a liquid thermosetting resin. Typical resins include polyesters, vinyl esters and phenolics. The wet-out fibre is formed to the desired geometric shape and pulled into a heated steel die. Once inside the die, the resin cure is initiated by controlling precise elevated temperature. The laminate solidifies in the exact cavity shape of the die, as it is continuously pulled by the pultrusion machine. Most any constant cross-section part can be pultruded.
FRP flat sheet is available in a range of thicknesses (from 3 to 15 mm), depending on the intended use, and various sizes.They are available with slip resistant or smooth surfaces and are fixed with special fixings or adhesives.
FRP flat sheet is made using a combination of chopped strand mat (CSM) and woven roving, incorporating silica carbide grains for slip resistance.FRP flat sheet is certified to ASTM E-84 fire resistant standards. Standard resin: isophthalic&vinyl ester. Standard colours:Yellow RAL1003,Black RAL9011,Green Ral 6001,Grey Ral 7004,etc.Width:≤1220 mm.Length:Customized.
